Situation

As its existing product distribution channels began to shrink, Proman, a leading Chinese male underwear brand in China, wished to establish an in-house retail network across the mainland China and ensure the company's long-term prosperity.

Challenge

Proman has determined that the new retail network would be operating under the DKDC name, offering products from not only Proman but also some other competitor brands. Formation SD was commissioned specifically for the purpose of creating a visual identity system corresponding to Proman's established brand strategy. Thus Brand Advantage™ Stage 1 was selected as the brand development program for this project.

Brand Advantage™

As DKDC primarily targets hard-working, family oriented consumers, Formation SD created a visual identity system featuring a stylized bee brand logo, a dynamic retail space coloring system and numerous key creative brand assets that are visually powerful yet easy to manage.
