Situation
Formation SD was charged with developing a name plus corporate brand identity for a newly formed Canadian-based telecommunications company that provided unlimited international calling.
Challenge
Based on the fact that unlimited calling was commonly offered and no longer a competitive edge in North America, we needed to create a new differentiation though either the naming or visual system of this new player in the industry. Brand Advantage™ Stage 1 was selected as the brand development program for this project.
Brand Advantage™
Formation SD created the name "Buffetel" and the slogan "All You Can Call" to make a powerful statement about the company's unlimited calling service, along with a refreshing symbol and visual system to graphically reinforce the company's unique sales position.
